WE WIN!
I got the greatest 40th birthday present a guy can get...another Gators National Championship! Congrats to the Oklahoma Sooners and their fans for a great season. Tim Tebow is my hero...what a great player...my only other wish is that he becomes a Dallas Cowboy!
Go Gators! For more great game photos go to http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/pgStory...&photo=9050554

Congrats to them! However, I would have loved to see them play USC. It would have been a great game!

Bradford is good but......
....he benefited from some weak secondary play in the Big-12. I would love to see SC or Utah play these chumps. they have two weapons on offense that garner attention, Tim Tebow who is outstanding and will be for many years. I have never seen a Quarterback play with so much enthusiasm and aggression. He is also what I call a model athlete and I wish my brothers across the nation would mirror him just a little. Anyway the other is Harvin, speed, speed and more speed. Not to mention I watched a piece on him rehabilitating his ankle to get ready for last nights game. Other then that Florida is a wash. And if you think USC couldn't match the power of Florida well you got another thing coming with that.
USC has too many weapons and a Coach who is great with adjustments. Plus Florida doesn't have a can't see back at 5'6, 185lbs with Barry Sanders type moves. Man we can only imagine what would have come of a game matching USC, Utah and Texas against Florida. Well congrats to Florida but please come out the state of Texas and play someone please. Date Opponent Result Aug. 30 Hawaii W 56-10 (Florida) Sep. 6 Miami-FL W 26-3 (Florida) Sep. 20 at Tennessee W 30-6 (Tenn) Sep. 27 Ole Miss L 30-31 (Florida) Oct. 4 at Arkansas W 38-7 (Ark) Oct. 11 LSU W 51-21 (Florida) Oct. 25 Kentucky W 63-5 (Florida) Nov. 1 at Georgia W 49-10 (Georgia) Nov. 8 at Vanderbilt W 42-14 (Tenn) Nov. 15 South Carolina W 56-6 (Florida) Nov. 22 The Citadel W 70-19 (Florida) Nov. 29 at Florida State W 45-15 (Florida) Dec. 6 Alabama W 31-20 (Georgia) Jan. 8 at Oklahoma W 24-14 (Florida) They played 9 games in the state of Florida, talking about home field advantage. 2 games in Georgia which we all know is a hop skip and a jump from Florida. 2 weak games in Tenn where the teams are horrible. 1 game in miserable ********** Arkansas. No games West of Atlanta. USC was idled that weekend. Hmmmmmmmmmm go figure that one. Just to show the nation that we have a free weekend because we was hoping Florida would play us that week that's why we scheduled that week off. Texas was off Nov. 22 also. Just my 2 cents...

I agree with Rich, USC would have probably beat Florida. Look at the success of the PAC 10 this bowl season. USC has TONS of 1st round picks on their defense, and a QB who will probably be good enough to actually play that position in the future, unlike Tim Tebow...soon to be fullback.
I think UTAH deserves to be no. 1 in this current system. They killed Alabama, a SEC team who played Florida well. Additionally, they won all their games! No one knows who would have won in a playoff system...but isn't that the problem? Why Florida and Oklahoma? Florida lost to a crappy team, Oklahoma lost to Texas. IMO Texas, USC, Utah, and Florida all have an equal claim to the championship, but only Utah won every game...right? Although I am not a Florida fan, I will agree that your EF team is painted extremely nice and I am sure they are killers on the field! |
