QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS
I just finished watching the DVD again (about4-5times). THis time though, with notebook and pencil in hand taking notes, as suggested. I even ran about 5 plays yesterday, till that loving, yet devlish sound of my son saying "Daddy, watcha doin? Watcha doin daddy? Futball?" Thats when i had to scrap the system and play his "system", which is line them all up in a conga line and turn the board on.
ok, here is the 1st question or comment. i will post them as i read them from my notes. The Kit, as WW refered to. Being that there si no "kit" to purchase, what is the reccommended way to make: The Penalty Marker (yellow flag) Sticks for passing The timer box Me personally, i can see the dvd and figure a way to make all of these, but in an effort to keep things standardized as much as possible, i thought i would ask for reccommendations.

How long is the timer box supposed to be?
also, to clarify... i can stop the board to make a pass attempt before the "timer runs out", correct? now once the pass is complete, and there is still time left, can i adjust the men, let the time run out, then adjust the men again because of the stoppage? Sorry if that wasnt written well, sounds confusing. wait, a better way i think. in the event a pass is attempted and completed with more stoppage time available, can i still make adjustments on that play, then more on the next stoppage. this will in effect give me an extra stoppage, is this correct? i assume that if i stop the board early to pass, then turn it on to complete the pass, i let the board run til said completed pass despite the timer running out for that stoppage. if this happens, then we just make adjustments to that play as it was a regular stoppage.

Rb within 3 yards of a defender WHO IS NOT ENGAGED cannot cut away. Those two cannot be adjusted. correct?
ok, now, what if a defender is within 3 yards, and will absolutely make the tackle on the next start of the board, BUT is technically engaged by an offensive player where maybe the back of his base is touching the defender. the engagement however will have no effect on the D man making the tackle upon starting the board. this happened during my quick scrimmage. i followed the rule and adjusted by back, as well as the defender. i started the board and this adjustment allowed the back to narrowly escape for a 20 something yard run. i chalked it up to -"hey, the rb made one of those helluva moves and juked the sure tackle". was i correct in doing this?

cant remember this rule, and dont have time to go back and search for it in the DVD -
What happens if i a defender runs past (not into) the QB bar that prevents him from dropping to far back? what is the difference between a 3,5 or 7 step drop back? If the wr is within the 3 yrd marker, it doesnt matter then were the qb is setting up, so distance doesnt matter. also, is there a rule of the qb touching the back of the OL while on a magnet in say a short 3 step drop? I am sure these were gone over, but like i said, i dont have time right now to back to the dvd and search for this one.

sideline chart.
the dvd says i can make it as long or as short as i want it. doesnt this change the standardization of the game? Wouldnt this be accustomed to "house rules", when we are trying to simulate the real game as best we could? i see this as each person could change the length to best be an advantage to himself. also, the dvd says the game was designed to be played on a scale sized board. if i am not mistaken (which i could be), wasnt it said in a previous post last week that the game can be played on any size board, yet the timer and everything stays the same? nothing changes? Can you guys just clarify this for me if i have it wrong?

playing for a pass in the air........
a WR and covering DB are playing the ball in the air. They are next to each other , but the DB is about a 3/4 of a base length in front (ahead) of the wr. if the pass placement ball is placed directly in front of the WR, the DB's only chance of making a play is to run past it first, therebye making it an incomplete pass. in this scenario, the DB cannot make a pic with out crossing in front of the WR, which would then be pass interference if they touched. is this correct? also, offensive pass interference........ if a rb is open in the flat, but a wr is unintentionally slanting (lets say) toward the OLB, i cannot pass this ball to the rb because there will PI on the wr who will pick the OLB upon starting the game board?
