Bases
I think the run number involves the order of manufacturing. The color is for decorations. The color of the base has nothing to do with how well the base will perform. Your main concern with a base is how well it responds to being tweaked. Some bases do not take well to being tweaked. A lot of times it is due to the lack of softness in the plastic itself. The manufacturing process has everything to do with the quality of plastic that we get in a base. If the base is hard, it usually does not tweak well.
