Miggle convention...what a great time!!!
Man,
Traveled to my first tournament/convention this weekend and MAN I had a great time. I played (and got knocked out of) the round robin before the serious guys got on the boards. That was fun but the great time for me was meeting all the great coaches and their families from around the country. It was great seeing the Detroit crew holding it down (way to go homies!). Had not seen some of them in a year but it was great seeing ALL of them (Simmie...I got pictures of you on Saturday night dude. I'll keep them under wraps for the right price) . I finally got to meet some of the cool guys from around the country. We always see their names but never have a face to go with it. I got to meet the F.O.T.H. CorEy and I have spoke on the phone but it was a pleasure hangin' with this guy in person. I want to grow up to be like you dude. I got a chance to meet the likes of Larue, Rock Solid, Mike Turner, Silverhorse (get with me Matt), Wolf (a character and all around good guy), 46Defense (Nice family dude), Frank Johnson (I want a rematch!), Mike Guttman and Dave (man...they couldn't pay me for all the hard work you guys put into this...great job), Btower, Will Travers, and many others. It was great seeing Michigan Joe and Jimbo again. I know I've left some great guys off the list but it was a who's who of EFL. A special shout out to my road dawg Wolverinefan (let's do it again Chuck), and one of the BEST guys in this hobby EVER - Michael Downs/Hooper/ Mr. Scott Hooper. It was a blast man. I'm coming your way just to hang. And to the Landmans...I hope you can keep this going. Thank you! And last but not least, congratulations to both Norbert and Jim. If you new guys ever wanted to emulate someone in this hobby these two are it. Peace ~ detroitchild

Miggle Convention
I also had a great time at the convention. First, I want to also thank the Landsmen's for putting on a 1st class event, with a special thanks for their attention toward the kids.
Secondly, a great thanks to Dave and Mike for all of the hard work that they took on, especially in the absence of the Silverman Group. Finally, thanks to all of the guys of whom once again mad the trip a memorable one. See you at my next events, Buzzball, Seawall Brawl and finally, the best event of them all, the MFCA convention.

My name is Iron Eagle... and I endorse this thread!
The convention was my 1st and I can guarantee I will be back next year. That had to be the most fun I have had in years. Met a lot of great guys!! National, Frank Johnson, Jimbo, Ron Markee and Michigan Joe, a special thanks goes out to you two guys for taking a first timer under your wing. Mark I've shown everyone back home the Saints you sold me and needless to say they are impressed!! You are truly a talented artist my friend. Also thanks to Jerry Fulton for also taking the time to impart some of his infinite wisdom on a rookie. I brought my wife along and even she can't wait to go back again. For anyone who likes EF it was like walking into Disney Land. When Saturday came I was 10 years old again on Christmas Morning without a care in the world!! Played EF until 3AM the next day. See you guys in Canton!
