TALKING 4.0 OR MORE WEIGHT ONLY?
Coaches,
For those of you who like to play at 4.0 or unlimited weight, please share your thoughts on wanting to play heavier. This has nothing to do with 3.2. I am taking a survey on what is attractive about the heavier figure. There are coaches making there buzzball, miggle and haiti repro's heavier than the norm. 1) Is it performance on the field ? 2) is it you experimented and just liked the heavier feel ? 3)is it for strength reason's ? WHAT MADE YOU SAY, I LIKE 4.0 OR MORE WEIGHT ? For me, and i said this a million times. i wanted to build a team in my creation entirely and the other coach do the same. This is why i joined the MPFL. it's your idea vs my idea. Your 4.8 linebacker vs my shake and bake 3.9 tailback. I wanted to see my team built to my spec's. BULLS UP FRONT AND CHEETAH'S IN BACK. I paticularly like a slice of lead tape on my players. My Andre Davis of the TEXANS is a ff.net figure with lead tape that shakes out to 3.9 . He can fly down field like rodney king on a friday night. He ran back a kick off or two during his travels. I personally like the heavier more durable feel to the player.. So i am asking others who enjoy the more hefty player who laughs at jenny craig. Diet, what diet, were talking about diets. WHAT DID YOU SEE or FEEL PLAYING THE HEAVIER WEIGHT ? THANX MANTARAYDRE

Without a doubt in my mind, weight makes a difference, (I know some say otherwise). Put a brick on a ttc and tell me if it is stronger, weaker or no different than a base without one. In the Bluegrass EFL, we have a 4.0 limit only because you have to have a max somewhere. We do not allow adding weight, only taking weight off if too heavy. They are what they are. If a figure weighs 1.9, don't put him on the line. To answer your question, for performance.

I like 4.0 and here is why...
1st reason - Bigger, Faster, Stronger!!! Bigger figures can be used at higher weights, The speed of the set can be higher with more weight (at lower weights and higher speeds, figures tend to fall over more), The figs are Stronger with more weight.
2nd reason - Customizing - A lot of time custom poses add on a few grams. 3rd reason - Stabalization of figures - Some figures are top heavy or the design of them are off. The use of weight allows you to balance that figure with th proper placing of the weight Just my opinion!

Agree with both...
...I like what Dre' and Mike stated as reasons. I do like the fact that I can have a RB at 3.4 or 3.5, but a line at 4.0. I have TE at 3.9 to help with the run blocks, but also TE at 3.4 that can get open down the seam. The options are what drew me to 4.0. But all the same I would never knock 3.2 because I have several teams at 3.2 that play very well.
