Default My third custom board

I just wanted to take a moment and thank Jimbo Dunagan and Michigan Joe for one of the best days of my life. I went up to Chicago to pick up my custom made Oilers board that Jimbo made. I got the field cover idea from Bill Porche's monster board ,and Jimbo said that it was kind of ironic in that Bill was the one he first learned from on how to do custom boards. Well, I just want to say that I absolutely love my board and the way it runs. We had a blast on this thing, and with all the help from Joe I can't tell you in words how much it meant to me. You guys are 1st class in my book, and for everything, I just want to say thanks again. I'll never forget it. Here are a few picks of my board.

Cool Oilers Board...

Frank,

That board is the freaking bomb!!!

Jimbo's board making skillz are rising through the roof.

Michigan Joe is the Mack as well, when it comes to boards and figures!

Nice job Jim Breezy!!!

Defend your home field with Honor Frank.

Peace,

Don

Question A couple of questions...

Jimbo,

Is the playing surface longer or wider than your Illini-field? From Frank's pics, it appears to be but I'm not sure.

Is it my imagination or are the sideline areas at least 2 1/2 base lengths wide? That is one big freakin sideline. Frank could probably mount benches, misting fans, gatorade tables, and emergency vehicles behind his team.

BTW, the frame on that board is some very nice woodwork.

Default Fine Board

If I were commentating at the game, I would say something like "Welcome electric fans to the Astro Dome where the Houston Oilers will host the whatever team. This is an outstanding board on which coaches from all over would be proud to play". That board looks cool. It represents the hobby well.
