Default What is the Craziest Thing your Players have done?

This past week I played a solitaire game. My Queen's University Golden Gaels Vs. the University of Western Ontario Mustangs.

the Mustangs went up by a field goal late in the 3rd Quarter, but On the last play of the game the Gaels had a receiver semi open in the Endzone behind the Speed knob. I Placed the appropriate Pass stick down and placed the ball, I then realized that one of the Mustangs was somewhat closer to the ball than my Gael was... sadly I had to turn the mustang to make what I was sure was an interception.

I turned on the board and the Golden Gael player Launched into the air and made the grab just before the mustang player could get there.

I know that it was just a combination of the players positioning over the motor and the Jolt of it turning on that made it all happen, but it was highlight reel material and fun to watch! Really seemed like he "wanted it more".

I swear once your teams are all painted up and on the board there is a little bit of magic in there somewhere

In a solitaire game around the Holidays last year, I was playing Patriots vs. Chargers, LT charged the line, there was a battle of strength, he managed to sneak through the mayhem untouched, ran 60 yards between the hash marks kind of swaying beautifully left to right, then 5 freaking yards before the endzone he just falls over dead!!! I was yelling, I could not believe what just happened.

He was running towards the motor and I guess he got caught up in the vibes he bounced right over.

To me these moments are the true magic of the hobby.

Good thread, thanks!

Once I was playing a coach with the lions I had Barry Sanders in the I formation he hit the pile then turn right and ran right around the end for a 69 yard touchdown!! It was amazing to see!!!

Default Here is the most recent...

This is not a joke...it is the complete and honest truth...I made this pass last year and the football landed just perfect and stuck to the receivers foot!

I'm playing a game right now between the Toxic Waste and Zombies. The Toxic Waste receiver catches the ball and runs straight down the field. Around the Zombie 30 he suddenly turns and heads straight toward the sideline. I'm thinking "Great, now he'll run out of bounds". Instead, he gets about 2 yards from the sideline, almost stops and turns slowly toward the endzone and then runs like a bat out of hell straight into the endzone while staying within 2 yards of the sideline. I gotta start video taping my games.
