Your Favorite Bases?
I don't believe anybody has ever posted a poll about their experiences with different bases. I have found the Buzzball white lightnings to be a very good base. Polo greens are good also. What are your thoughts?

Favorites....
wELL, I LIKE TO SAY THAT HAVING TWEAKED JUST ABOUT ALL THE BASES EVER MADE, HERE IS MY LIST OF CURRENT FAVORITES (COULD CHANGE)
#1 - wIDE TOPS (BY FAR BETTER THAN MOST EVERY BASE BECAUSE AS A RAW TALENT IT COULD BEAT ANYTHING. MOST CONSISTANT BASE. #2 - fROSTY ORIGINALS (ttC OR rOOKIES) - CURRENT MIGGLE FROSTY BASES ARE NOT THE SAME AS THESE. ROOKIES THAT COULD PUSH A TTC UP AND DOWN THE FIELD CAN FROM THESE BASES. #3 - ORIGINAL R/L AND bb ORIGIANL REPRO R/L - SPEED AND POWER ARE VERY COMMON WITH THESE BASES. THEY, TOO, ARE VERY CONSISTANT. #4 - ORANGE ttc - CAN GET ROOKIE-TYPE SPEED FROM THESE GUYS. vERY CONSISTANT ON MOST FIELD TYPES. #5 - rED pEGS - ONE OF THE HARDEST BASES TO TWEAK, BUT WHEN YOU GET ONE WORKING.... THE TITLE IS NOT FAR AWAY. cOACH k-lO |

For RBs, WRs, and defense...
Pro Line Strong Rookies (both the flat front and rounded front). You can fill up a whole team with these. These are very consistent performers, even on fast boards. The material is much softer than the other types of Miggle bases. Easy to tweak for specific assignments or to run straight down the field in between the hashes.

Lately I have been using orange TTC with first gen Proline dials in them on my newly created 4.0 Clemson squad and I love this combination of base and dial. I have always heard of this combo and never paid much attention to it, I am down for life on this set up now though!
I have also used the same Proline dials in yellow and polo green TTC as well with great success. For rookies right now I am into Miggles current frostys, and clear Speed Diamonds. If you want to boil, the current frostys are not going to work, but they tweak up real nice for speed. If you have not tried it yet, get some ITZ dials and put them into a TTC shell, these babies are fast. Plus they are stealthy, hard to tell which way they are set to run. I also like older vintage TTC bases, as well as wide tops. Just got some red pegs from a fellow coach I play with. What are these best tweaked for? I do not want to mess them up.
