General questions on facemasks
I just got my first batch of Jennings throwback masks, and I love 'em. My question is, does anyone have any good tips on putting them on? I got one mask on by using a couple of dabs of super glue. Seems to hold well and it dried clear. Is there a better way?
Also, I'm a bit anal about my guys looking authentic. I do custom McFarlane's and can't STAND it when people put the wrong facemask on (could just be me). Anyways, does anyone know where you can get some masks that are 80s and 90s styles with good variety? What is the variety of masks you get from Miggle? And I don't do revolution helmets or masks, just older stuff. In particular I'm looking for the Charles Woodson/Emmitt Smith style EGOP mask, as well as the Lawrence Taylor/Junior Seau style RJOP-DW mask. Does anyone know who makes those in EF? Much appreciation, guys. I started an EF project about 2 months ago and it's really picking up steam. Glad I found this board! Jay |

one man band
Ah, I'm getting the impression he isn't "A" guy to get them from, he's "THE" guy to get them from....

I found that using acrylic gloss medium works very well. It grabs as you position them then all you have to do is hold them up near a lamp for a few seconds and it starts to set. I then go back over the joints with a little more and let them dry. The medium is less brittle than super glue and I have not had any pop off yet. I have had to replace ones that were superglued every now and then.
