you can get a Watts board or Buzzball board (pickup only) or FF.net 308 (fiberboard)
All are very good fields to start with and then there is the custom fields... you would need to request info from those who make them....go to other sections of this site for more ........ |

HERE YA GO!
Neuspeed1072,
i bumped up a bunch of threads that discuss boards. In this, the tailgate section, new miggle boards and older tudor boards are discussed. Also in this section, a discussion on the differences and preferences of metal baords and fiber boards. In the tips section, Pit Coutre's Hall Of Fame post of how to build your own board is up. In the gallery section, i bumped a post that puts MANY different boards from most of the board makers, on display. That post was in response to a question similar to yours. Look through these postings and you should have a good idea then of what you might want to look for. Any other questions, feel free to ask. The replies might be a little slow this weekend as quite a few people are attending The Buzzfest weekend in Harrisburg, PA this weekend. But someone will eventually get back to ya. Enjoy, and let us know what you come with. Scott

Hi There,
Greetings to you my friend. My name is John but I am better known on the chatboard as Coach J. You are a newbie so let me say welcome to the hobby and the MFCA chatboard. You have come to a good place to get your miniature football questions answered. First of all there is not a size requirement when it comes to fields. Since you are new I would recommend starting off by getting a 620 gameboard. The best place you can find one is on ebay. Many coaches in the hobby play on the 620 and it is a good board for a newbie to sharpen there skills. I always recommend to new coaches to use the K.I.S.S. method and that is KEEP IT SWEET & SIMPLE. That is the reason for me suggesting the 620 gameboard. You are in Georgia and I saw your initial post. I would suggest you speak to some of the coaches in the DSEFL who could act as mentors during your early stages of miniature football. They could also answer some of your questions regarding gameboards and anything else related to miniature football. Hope all of this helps. Have a good day and feel free to ask any additional questions. John aka Coach J |
