Default To those who over look or just dont care about the Beltsville Bash

I come on here every year trying to promote this thing and every year i get the same response. " NO LOVE FROM THIS EFL COMMUNITY", its funny how i always read fellowship and helping eachothers cause. but it's never returned when you do, I luv this hobby alot and i look forward to the weekends to get away to play a little EF at someone's function. I cant wait to see the Detroit cats, Cant wait to the Philly crew, Etc. For me i wish we all lived near eachother were we could play on a regular basis. But its funny that None of them show up our way. Just my 2 cents. NO luv FROM DETroit, Va, Texas. just to name a few.

Default Beltsville Bash

It's a great tournament guys. I have attended many tournaments put on by the DC guys and they are always wonderful hosts and there's top quality coaches there.

I wish I could make it this year but work and family obligations have made it impossible.

If you are at all on the fence, please make the trek to DC...you won't be sorry!

Me and Jim was on the phone this morning at 10:00 talking about your tournament and trying to figure out a way to come, don't forget your's come after miggle and buzzball, I myself have spent $1.700 allready on tournaments in travel and hotels, it's not that theres no LUV as you put it, I think you all know how I and others in Michigan feel about you cats, it's just kinda rough now my friend, it has been the last couple years, also, months ago I commited to the BAM which starts next month, I have to go twice, thats another $1.500 to $1.700 right there, then you got the MFCA convention coming up, thats another $500, so my friend it's not about showing LUV, it's just a money thing with most I think, for me it is.

Default Dereall, it's definitely not...

that I don't want to come but I just can't afford to come. Up until last weekend, I looked for deals that could get me there but just could not make it happen. The best I could come up with was a $500 package,

I definitely will try hard next year to make it there because I do want to have a reason to come to Washington. Hopefully, after I get my daughter stabilized at Texas Tech, I can make it happen. I just know my funds are so limited right now.

I know what you mean about the support thing as I had the Shootout starting back in 1995 and I constantly hyped and asked people to come. Could not get anyone west of the Mississippi to come to Texas except Jayboy and Dirk Thomas. Then they wanted you to come to their events only never to show up at your event. I just try to be understanding because unforeseen circumstances do arise.

I've had that happen on several occasions so I know the feeling. You think you are doing something good for the hobby but can't get the entire support of the hobby. What I can do is send some money to support the cause if that will help?

Default Tough Act To Follow !!!

Tron here,

The BEFL is one of the best EF leagues in the country. The BEFL boast one of the largest and longest running leagues in the country. The most champions, some of the best and most dedicated coaches around. Although I've been away from the 'ville for a few of years, I'll always support what ever you guys do. The BEFL is land of the ultimate smack, good eats and stiff competition. Speaking for myself, my weekends are no longer my own. I haven't made a torny since Miggle/ The brawl 2007 and that took everything I had. I love this hobby and I'll say it again! I don't have any ill feeling towards anybody out there. I just can't commit to anything right now. I'm juggling the convention in August because my wife and i would have to adjust so many things. Always there in spirit!

Default I would love to make it...

I would love to make it...if only to play the great Kelvin Lomax and share solitaire league discussion. It is too bad I live so far away. I have been wanting to make it to Buzzball for the last 5 years now. Unfortunately my work schedule allows for just two tourneys...Miggle and the MFCA....

Kelvin Lomax will be covering the event...so give him some good quotes to write!

Default Address Please

I am planning on attending - as Mpls. Tom mentioned it is a great tournament with a very good field of coaches.

Although I have been there the last 2 years I cannot find the address of where the games will be played. Could you please list the address?

Thanks.

Joe G
