Default The Texas Shootout:Coach Bryan Nutt

Coach Bryan Nutt was the last Texas Shootout Champion to play back in 2007. Bryan was a great coach and super guy. At the time, we did not present him with his trophy but did many pieces on Bryan.

Bryan changed a lot of thoughts about the Texas Shootout, including giving some people in some circles the hope that they could play in the system and win. Bryan was like no other. You had to be here to see Bryan. Coach Nutt was totally wet during halftime. Under the bright lights of the stadium and the heat and pressure of the game, Bryan was the greatest coach on that day.

I want to salute Coach Nutt with his long-overdue trophy. I definitely appreciated you coming to Texas to be a part of the event and what you did made it possible for the CBSMF to exist.

I just saw the photos of the trophy and it is beautiful. Thank you very much for the trophy.

Default Joel showed me that...

the trophy company screwed up the name so I need to have that re-ingraved. I've got to take it back over there next week. Sorry Bryan.
