Default 2nd Annual Pre- Hall of Fame Game Tailgate Party

Hey All,

Just wanted to get a post out there regarding the 2nd annual Tailgate Party to be held Sunday August 9th prior to the start of the HOF game, in the same location as last year, right up the hill from the Hall of Fame
(2 minute walk), which is right next to Fawcett Stadium where the HOF game will be played. A good time had by all, especially w/the Parking Nazi's (Danny) antics . Well I'm planning on setting the same thing up again this year, for those who weren't there last year we had some food grilled up, beer/pop & water to drink. Plus some pasta salad, potato salad, beans, snacks, etc., and some canopies & chairs. There will also be cigars for my RatPack brethren and any who will partake. So I would like to start getting an approximate count of those who may be coming, in order to better plan for the event. In speaking to Lynn, the tournament should be finished up by 5:30, the Hall of Fame game begins at 8:00pm. So this will give those that need some time to kill prior to the game beginning something to do, or even if your not going to the game your more than welcome to come and hang out with all who will be there (especially if your not heading out of town until Monday). Also it gives you a place to come back to after the game, or whenever you've had enough. I'd like to set this post up using some type of counter, but I'm not sure how to do it. If one of the mods could lend a hand it would be appreciated.

The "After Convention Tailgate Party" at the Parking Nazi's just outside of the stadium is a MUST DO event. We laughed, ate and drank and smoked cigars till 3:00 in the morning! If you don't BYOB please bring a small donation for John as they go to a lot of work to put this on for us BUT the fun was just too much and the food was kickin"!! Plus, the HOF Game was on in the garage on a 1940's? giant console TV...talk about old schoolin it!

This place is just a mile or so from the Stearn Center so driving won't be as big an issue this year.
