Default MFCA Convention!

Man, this thing was the bomb! I was so fortunate to meet so many people on so many fronts from across the good ole USA. Constant jokes, fellowshipping, personalities, celebrities, hosted by the classiest people miniature football has to offer. The coaches challenge, the epitomy of fellowship, was won by one Kelvin Lomax. K-Lo is a multiple winner of many major tournaments, yet, here he was playing more than anyone, reffing other games, just all over the place contributing any way he can. K-Lo, you were the MVP to me in the Fellowship Department!

I feel that everyone won in the Unity and Integrity department. People constructively evaluating then offering suggestions to increase the success of this convention. Make no mistake about it, this baby was about the MFCA, the fellowship, unity and integrity. I haven't laughed so much in a month to be honest. Lynn, Will, Matthew, and everyone else that secured the venue and saw this throughs big ups and Kudos.

Nobody has spoken on the food served Friday. Man, that food was off the chain and well worth the small fee. I gotta work this five pounds off somehow. Plenty of pop, water, and activities. Hall of Fame, Induction Ceremony, Tailgate Party, then a game to kick off the NFL season. You gotta love it. Customizing and sculpting right at your fingertips. Rollertaco bursting on the scene with his awesome boards. Bruce Watts, donating for the cause with one of the baddest, and smoothest running boards I have ever seen. Can anyone tell me how to do a B & E so I can get it out of Steve's house? Sweet Teams, Throwback jerseys, prize giveaways. Neil Smith was in the house. What a class act. Chachi had sweet figures, Joe Allore had sweet base technology, Marty worked tirelessly reffing games and taking it all in.

The miniature football Hall of Fame induction ceremony was top notch and no one could argue the inductees. I really have to say that I love the induction standards. Your commitment, contributions, and innovation can get you inducted. Wins an losses is not the only criteria and that is such a plus.

It was great seeing Adrian, fit and healthy looking. No need to worry anymore. My Big Brother Will Travers and his sweet truck. Lynn is one funny dude and the Burger was awesome, thanks. Matthew Culp really embodies all that this MFCA is about. He is all three components of the mission statement rolled into one. National is national and that's all he does is help where he can. Many coaches was all over the place supporting whatever efforts they could. I had a blast shooting baskets with the youngsters, cracking jokes, etc.

This was just what I needed, to have some fun. I needed to get away from it all after losing my Dad and I want to thank all of you, each and every one of you who attended, for being so positive, so much fun, and such good company.

Please forgive me for not mentioning a whole bunch of names because I felt the Fellowship from everyone so if you saw me, I meant you.

This was the best convention I ever went to because fellowship came first, the games came second. And that is the way it should be!

GOD BLESS THE MFCA!

Was there any progress on the MFCA National Championship or the MFCA Rule Set?

However, it is best to hear of any changes from the leadership. Chet, these are the people that everyone needs to support. I am totally convinced and truly believe in them. The hobby can move forward because the leadership is truly committed to their mission statement.

Personally, that coaches challenge should stand head and shoulders above anything. It really promotes the hobby and builds bridges. Quite frankly, I don't care if I play competitively or not. I can do that all the time. The fellowship was priceless.

It was discussed and approved by vote to go ahead with both proposals. I will get with you in a couple of days to go over some ideas. I think we can really build this easily and get it started.

Wolf, I completely support the MFCA and the proposed standard rule set and the concept of a national championship. I will do what I can to help and contribute to the future. Unity, Integrity, Fellowship. We need more of it.
