Each MFCA coach may enter only one player for the contest! The contest will be run on a standard metal field. The contest will be performed at midfield. Side walls will be used to keep the players engaged. Each strength contest will be a “one on one” contest with another player. The contest will be a single elimination contest. Each coach will draw a number to determine the bracket placements. Each “one on one” contest will consist of two parts. In part one, the figures will go head to head at midfield. Side walls will be used to keep the players engaged. End walls are placed at each 40 yard line. The board will run for 10 seconds. If the base of either player contacts the end wall during the 10 seconds the board is stopped and the stronger figure is declared the winner of that part of the race. If neither base touches the end wall at the end of 10 seconds, the distance that the strongest base travels will be measured. Part two of the contest will be performed in the exact manner as part one except the figures will swap ends. The positive distance traveled by each base will be added together from both parts of the race and the base with the most positive total distance wins. An MFCA representative will determine the speed of the board. The MFCA coach with the “last man standing” will be awarded the official MFCA gold medal. An MFCA representative will administer the contest and will be the final authority on judging the outcome of each contest.
