Default 1962 AFL Champion Dallas Texans! - AFL 50th special

Announcing
the
1962 AFL Champion
DALLAS TEXANS

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the American Football League the Dallas Texans will make their miniature football debute in the DFW 2009-2010 season. The Texans will be coached by Curtis Kitchens a.k.a. Texas Time Traveler, and they hope to make a good showing this year.

The team was painted and decals were added courtesy of Don Hudson of the DFW league. Decals by Raider Mike. Figures by miggle and buzzball. Still need to get the 2-bar facemask on these guys, but they look pretty good.

Default Nice

Those look good. Very clean paint job. Are you going to add gray face masks? That team is on my to do list as well. I know that many fans in K.C. are mad about using the Texans as the throwback, but being a chiefs fan and living in North Texas I am happy that the heritage is being promoted.

Great looking team!!! You ever used facemask and chinstraps?? They really "finish" the teams off!!

Way COOL...Lenny the Cool, that is!

I love the AFL more than any league past or present. I have the game on disc from the Texans-Oilers Championship game. I might have to go watch it right now.

It kind of irks me, but I am going to buy some Dallas Texans legacy gear...Kansas Citians are having a hard time with this one, but I just have to honor the past. I'm definetly going to the Chiefs/Texans vs Dallas Cowboys game. Lamar Hunt always wanted to see this matchup.

Nice job on the Texans. Are you doing some Home jerseys too?
