AUTOGRAPH DISPLAYS
This is technically Miniature Football related but I figured it better posted here. Recently I've been spending loot on autographed football cards and decided on a keen way to display the cards with painted miniatures. I've found the softball display cubes work the best, they are 3.75" x 3.75" x 3.75", which is roomy enough for a display. Here are two methods I use. If I am lucky enough to get a player's signature on the matte board itself I go with first display (just happened to meet Hines at an event we catered for the Steelers at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh a few weeks back ).
If I have only a football card I go with the second style seen in the Jack Ham display, by using double sided tape I can affix the card sleeve to the back of the case, and it looks darn good when complete. I plan to get more pics as I configure the displays and post them. My signature collection...enjoy |

Incredible!! What did you use to make the helmet on the bench for Jack Ham?

The figure is Reggie's FF.NET 'The Mike' MLB pose. I cut the helmet off, replace the head with an O-Scale train figure head (I sculped the hair with Miliput) then hollow out the FF.NET head to make the helmet. When you get it painted and put the facemask on it looks like a perfect little helmet.

It's a great idea I believe once I will finish my team and my brother's one, I'll make "one shot" minis to display too.
I particulary like the #86 |
