A suggestion
First off, I would like to say how grateful I am to the MFCA and all of its members for this great forum. Everyone has provided information and support as I have entered the hobby. Without this site, I would have been clueless as far as tweaking, etc. and probably would have gotten frustrated and given up. However...
I realize that this issue has been debated before, and I realize the MFCA needs all the money it can get. But I've always found it strange that the tips section of the forums is off-limits to non-members. I would think this section of the forum would be one of the most vital in "educating the public" about MF. Yes, the $20 annual fee doesn't seem like a lot. But for the casual electric football player or curious passerby that finds this web site, it isn't a very good first impression when he sees a message saying he has to become a paying member in order to view the tips section, search the forums, etc. I know there has to be some incentive to become a member, but was just wondering why these specific limitations were implemented. Hope this doesn't offend anyone. Thanks. |

Sign up and see what's in there!!!
Just playing coach. But the restrictions had to be done. I was a member of a 49ers web club, but when they went to a pay to stay format...asking for 4Xs what the mfca wanted I was done with that site. I just didn't feel it was worth the money. This site alone is worth $20 a year, the Tweak is worth $20 a year by it's self. So I think you get great bang for your buck here. The site gives you plenty to see without paying. Photo section I hope you decide to join up, and if you're on the fence......You are getting a special invite from the F.O.T.H. Strive to keep the Buzz Alive the F.O.T.H. is Nat'l

this is like the only website I go to anymore!
20 bucks a year seems reasonable to me, but I was hooked when the whole thing was free. Would there be a way to have a limited free trial tour thing for a day if you sign up then you have to pay if you want to keep access? (probably difficult to do and would add loopholes to the security of the pay product) but I do see volcano's point |

There's probably a lot more to this that I don't know about, so I'm probably wrong. Just throwin' it out there, that's all. |

New signups already get a free 30 day trial. After which they can either signup to the MFCA or they are moved to the basic user level.
Volcanohead, go here to the online signup. Skip the payment, address and phone step and include your birthday and you will get full access. Anyone under 18 gets free access. http://miniaturefootball.org/about-t...or-renew/join/
