Default PICK YOUR CHAMP

Everyone here knows Baxter......the pound for pound best in the country. Only a few know Al Harvey. Al beat Adrian and the Dolphins in the regular season, BUT that was early. Adrian said he wasn't comfortable with the rules til mid season when he hit his stride.

Will Al be too nervous playing under the bright lights?

Can Adrian become only the 3rd rookie to win the NEFL title?

June 26th. John Perzel Center. Phila, PA

Thumbs up You are right!

I don't know Al Harvey, Yet.

But I do know Adrian and like Coleman A. Young used to say:

You rather deal with the rascals you know than the ones you don't!

Adrian is the Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!

Good luck to both coaches!

PS. Got another, faster, more elusive back to go on that Gore!

Default like to add...

This will be one of the best games of MF that will be played this year!!!

Knowing both coaches and each one's love of the game makes this special.

Al has been on a mission, so I will go with him.......

.... and not because I lost to Baxter, either

MFCA

Team Won Lost Tied Points for Against Divison
Dallas Cowboys 14 2 331 179 38-26
Miami Dolphins 13 3 241 114 26-38

now take into consideration

FFW ave pts games played
Dallas Cowboys 1 21.9 11.9
Miami Dolphins 4 25.8 12.6

First factor

The Cowboys played 5 games against playoff teams in regular season and won 3 . The Dolphins played 4 games against playoff teams and split.

Second

The Cowboys actually played 15 games and the Dolphins played 12 in regular season. FFW is forfeit win.

Third

The actual points per game played, not counting the 2-0 FFW scores, gives the advantage to the Dolphins by 3.9 ppg. (4pts) Defensively the Cowboys have a slight edge of .7 ppg or (1pt).

Fourth

Division strength

The NFC EAST was 38-26, AFC East 26-38 ( notice they are from the East?)

Now if you go by points only it would look to me like the Dolphins by 3 points.
The strength of schedule in favor of the Cowboys may be just wiped out if Adrian brings his coach of the year helmet awarded to him by the MFCA a few years ago. :-)

I played Al and know Adrian for a while. I have been around both these guys many times and if cool heads was the theme of the SB, then no two other guys would be better. These guys coach !!!

I am in the NFC and will be pulling slightly for Al's Cowboys, I think the game is as close to a draw points wise as could be possible.

I would really like this game to be broadcast and rebroadcast so I could see it from Bermuda. We will be talking it up on the ship. The posters for the game are scattered around Toms River in different stores and my chiropractors office. My butcher friend Frank keeps asking me about the league.

On another note: so far I am taking five Panthers from each of the three uniforms on the cruise. There will be photo shoots in Bermuda, St. Thomas, San Juan and St. Marteen, as well as on the ship. I may take a few of our magazines with me but will have to watch them carefully if I bring them to the pool. It is the enthusiasm I have for this hobby, rekindled by the coaches of the NEFL and my fellow MFCA members.

I am also bringing my qb's and kickers . Maybe these guys will bond a bit while out of the country together. :-)

Leaving 5pm with Ryan on Thursday from Bayonne, NJ. A memory maker for both of us.

Good luck to Adrian and AL, and thanks to CorEy for his fellowship, and his mom for her cooking.

take the under, there won't be more then 36 points scored in this one.
