Congratulations DC!

Wish I could have been there for the Champioship game, but I know it was a good one.

Also, cogratulations to Simmie who Always seems to play at a very high level when he wants to.

Love seeing all of the families and being around all of the coaches this weekend. Can't wait for next year.

Cool Tron Speaks: The Seawll Brawl 2007

Congradulations,
This tournament hosted to bring recognition and funding to the Police Unity Tour has once again united both friend and foe alike. It's awesome when competitors can battle like bulls and drink from the same "loving cup" at the end of the day. Thanks Ray! the Martini was delicious! Coaches and players came form all over the country. The B-more Ballers,The D.C.Champions,The Philly Crew, The Motown Mobsters, The Ohio Players, The Dixie Boys and some Rooting Tooting Texans also showed up! The joint was packed!
Everyone had something nice to display, buy, sell or trade. Mega Watts and Reggie bought some big boards. For you too hate had figures. Reggie had figures. Corey with an "E" was boosting buzzball figures. Jeasy and Lomax were bumping out new bases to raise the bar of competition. Coach J was awarded the title of Mr. Unity and Reggie Reg received the "Life Time Acheivement" award. Don Smith and Jimbo have run an outstanding tournament two years in a row! The Friday night dinner/awards ceremony acknowledges coaches for a variety of reasons and the food is always delicious. Who knew that when it was my time to win a award that I would be using the head? Who knew? Thanks guys it means a lot to me!
The MFCA ran a new skills competion! Coaches were putting up the fastest and strongest figures for competition. One special note:Will travers covertly blew on my fastest two men and caused them to fall down thus seizing my coveted crown. Travers, I'll be back next year! The reconfiguration/custom- mizing class by Reggie Rutledge was another smashing success. Reggie gave face to face first had cutomizing lessons to at least a dozen coaches at one time. He also gave them a final exam and home work. Anthony Burgess came through and gave a up close and personal demonstration of his multiple stop/weighted system. It was an intense demonstration with players chosen from the crowd while Anthony instructed them on one of the most controversial and unique styles of play. I myself give this style of play my 100% seal of approval. We will all be playing this way soon.
The coaches bought their families with them and it looked like everybody had a ball. The babies were happy and the youngsters made new friends and some even competed for trophies of their own. Big ups to The Brothers Chalmers and the sons of Joe Greco and Ed Roche'.
The competion was intense! It look like more than forty coaches were fighting for the Belt! Big Keith fell, Norbert Revels fell, Lomax Stumbled, Smitty fell, Frank "the professor" was over come with fatigue, Rutledge had a headache, Jeasy Money was tested. After the tide had rolled back out to sea. Only Simmie and "The Kid" were left. As we cruised back to B-more, we heard a shout in the distance, TWO TIMES! TWO TIMES!

Who keeps letting these "KIDS" in the room? See You'll at the 2008 Seawall Brawl! Pictures to follow?
