Default How will you get through the late fall and winter months?

I know, that could be a slow pitch over the plate type of question. The obvious answer would be "Your significant other". However, as a solitaire player, I am looking forward to the winter times when guys are snowed in and there's nothing to do except - play miniature football!

I am predicting, in the next year or so, we will have more guys begin to play solitaire football more than ever before. I know guys still love to play in leagues (competition) but as they began to read the stories of how "Solos" have just as much fun (and chances are, even more fun) as them, they will have to ask "How"? When that happens, it opens up the possibilities to show them how.

Just make sure if some of these guys want to explore your ruleset or learn from you that you are well-versed in the rules and you are a willing ambassador to show them. Talk about the game, pump it up, and let them know that just because there is no one opposite you playing, that you get the type of enjoyment and satisfaction of watching those little non-salaried athletes perform without any complaints!
