Default why don't people understand!!

everyone ask me what i want for christmas or birthdays, i always say ELECTRIC FOOTBALL STUFF! they get a funny look on their face and i end up getting a shirt or something. Do you know how many bases I could get if they would buy them instead? these people are killing me, why don't they want me to be happy?!!!!!!!!!!!!

May I suggest asking for a paypal gift certificate.

Fewer crazy looks!

I've been thinking a bit more about this. And I think it comes down to two things.

#1 Grown men aren't supposed to be playing with little toy games. (apparently)

#2 They have no idea what to actually get when it comes to 'get me some miniature football stuff' (this one makes a little more sense)

I've been dealing with it for years when it comes to Table Hockey and Subbuteo, and now EF. So my solution has been asking for paypal gift certificates etc.

I would guess I may get one GC this year and a bunch of stuff that I smile and say thank you for. That will end up in a closet.

Thumbs up Great idea Shane

giftcards are the best things. Maybe a suggestion for all MF suppliers for next years. I'll be more than happy to receive a 50$ gift certificate from Miggle, FF.net or any EF custom painters. What do you think??

I also think Gift Cards work well up here Ben because of Boxing Day. And it has become a more 'acceptable' gift in the past 10 years.

For those of you in the States, Boxing Day (Dec. 26th) up here is what Black Friday is to you guys. So if you ended up getting a few gift cards to Best Buy or something like that then you immediately had plans on the 26th LOL!
