Post Custom Team Question

I have finally decided to create my first custom team. I have decided to go with a quasi fantasy “custom” team. Do you all remember the classic football movie re-make, “The Longest Yard”? I always thought the convict’s Mean Machine uniforms were sweet. I have combed through multiple images on the internet looking for images clear enough to submit for decals but I cannot locate anything. Adding to my issues, are my very limited computer skills.

Does anyone know of any links or images with Mean Machine images/logos that are clear enough to submit to one of the forum's decal experts?

If I'm not mistaken, in the original movie with Burt Reynolds, the Mean Machine was a simple black and white uniform. The helmets were all black with no logos. All you need to do is find the right font for the numbers. Simplicity at it's best.

I think Mean Machine was above the number on the front of the uniform. The font is a basic full block I believe. You can also go to Wikipedia and look up the movie and you will get the names of players from both the Mean Machine and the guards team. There were a few ex- NFL players who were in the movie. One of my favorite sports movies.

Default Mean Machine...

> Black helmet/gray face mask...No logos on helmet
>black jersey;typical number font-all white/no trim;
front and back;NO sleeve/shoulder numbers;
MEAN MACHINE in red caps. across BACK of jersey
above number;NO name on front of jersey;
>White pants-NO stripes;
> black & white socks;
> black shoes
I was on a bar- "dart" team around this time and that was the
name of our team.We even had black t-shirts with MEAN MACHINE
printed across the back in red with the number 50/ double-bulls-eye
on the back.Good times....Great movie.The remake doesn't come
close.........

Default Custom Team/ Uniform....

I have always thought about doing up a team using
the colors and number font from the uniforms from
the original ROLLER BALL,with James Cann.Neat
color scheme but great number fonts.........
My bro,Rich Parks and I event discussed the idea
of making an electric-rollerball rink with teams and
all,based off of EF...Never happened though.But we
had some neats ideas and discussions on it.
