plastic ball?
I'm curious to see if anyone has ever experimented with making/using a plastic ball as opposed to felt or foam?
i was just thinking back to the old Coleco CFL game I had and it had a magnetic football for the kicker. And as I recall you could actually shoot it pretty far. My thoughts on the plastic is other than making a ball look better, it may be more consistent to use and not break down nearly as fast. Just curious if it's been tried. |

Actually, I like it! I can see using it for running plays and increasing fumbles!

I just thought it made sense. Not like plastic would be too heavy.

I've molded plastic (and later rubber) balls on sprues. They are more for customizing than in-game use.

I have used leather balls and still have some, they work well also, but are too large for most leagues. I have smaller ones that or more miggle in size, but tend to get lost faster....
