Default Facts of the Pass Placement

Lets take a look at some facts as they relate to the elements of the game of football.

TTQB

Offense controls the switch and will stop the board to avoid a sack and to through a pass to a receiver that becomes open due to the running time of the board and the defense is unable to do it's job ( react ). Then it's target practise with no pressure, you're given the luxury of moving any place you want to gain an advantage to complete a pass with no fear of being sacked, or an INT. The defense is rendered helpless because the system works for the TTQB.

What you lose as far as football elements are, the defensive teams ability to make a play on the ball, there ability to react to get into the passing lanes to take away some pass options, the defensive ability to get a sack, the use of the players on field knowledge, receiver abilty to run precis routes, abilities to get a penalty that actualy happens, players playing there positions as thay should and not running around like blind mice hoping to find the chees.

You lose all of this just to protect you're skill at hitting a still target that has very little to do with football. It just means you can use a tool better than some.

Don Smith is a coach that I highly respect because he understands that no matter what the other guys does, his skill will bring in the win. He doesn't fear the other forms of passing, but he learns them and how to defend them.

Pass Placement
The board is controled be a neutral person and is set on a timmer, when the board stops, both coaches have to same chance to do what ever needs to be done, they are given a chance to utilize what they know about football. Move and counter move is the name of the game, it is strategy and coaching, not luck or hope he gets open.
You're knowledge of football+ you're coaching ability+football strategy+player performance= Pass Placement

What you lose is the ball moving through the air and you are taken out of the equation as the players make the play on the field not you.

What you gain is the ability to understand and perform basic football fundamentals, defensive pass rush, and pass coverage, reaction to what the players see, sacks, INT because the defender can make a play on the ball, penalties, clearing out an area on the field to throw to the back out of the back field, QB moving to aviod a sack. You also gain the chance to be a part of the game and not just a spectator once you turn the board on.

Problem
Pass Placement was not ment to be used for one stop but guys tryed it anyway and you can see the results.

It was ment to be used with the timed stoppages along with the TTQB giving the coach the option of throwing either a lob pass or a bullet pass.

What some/many have done was to take pass placement ment and make it fit into one stop, and now that there are some issues you want to say that the sticks are a cruch or some other negative comment.

Fact is you took something that was ment for one thing and tryed to apply it to something else and it's not working.

Basic instruction, this is to be used with this, not to be used with that.

Pass Placement was ment, designed for the MPFL System of play only, it was not ment, or designed to be used for one stop due to the lack of football elements in that style.

Every other bootleg version of pass placement is a failed attempt to fit a square peg into a round hole, that is why many of you don't like it or understand it. These guys have taken someone idea ( Mine) and tryed to make it there own.

Because they don't understand that you need to use stoppage, use magnets, react, they lengthen the yardage on the sticks, ( WRONG ) because they don't want to play proper pass defense.

To sume this all up I'll say this, Pass Placement is ment for the MPFL System of play only, and there it is played properly along with the TTQB as the type of pass the QB can throw, either a bullet pass ( TTQB ) or lob pass ( PP ).

Now who are you to tell the inventer of something how to use his idea when he has told you the facts around it? What it was ment for ! How to use it !

It is funny though, the ones who are using it properly are having fun and have no issues, only the ones who are not using it the right way have issues with it.

If you are using any form of Pass Placement ie sticks and not using it as I desinged it to be used then you're doing it the wrong way.
