Soaring Eagles...a work in progress
Wifey's lil' sis got a sweet new high end digital camera so I had her take some pics of the Eagles I am working on...these are in focus. Maybe I should hire her as our team photographer.
The last pic is of an Excalibur figure with thigh and knee pads that I added as well as FF.com arms and an EG facemask. DMC |

re
I am not going to lie , I hated those uniforms when the Eagles wore them a couple of weeks ago.
With that being said ---- I REALLY LIKE HOW YOUR TEAM LOOKS ! I did not think I would ever think those uniforms could look good. You have changed my mind. Keep up the good work ! What is a excaliber figure ? |

Those are great. Nice job and definetly better on the photo work. I still can't grasp that uniform all though it looks way better in miniature then it does in reality.

Sweet
Great looking team, love the figures and the expoxy sculpt pad details. Just curious, what weight are you making this team? Also how did you make the eyes so good, is that painted? I think I may start adding eyes too.

Excellent!!!
Man, I love the paint job and figures. I did not think anything could make this Eagles uniform look good at all, but you've proved me wrong.
Great job! -Adrian- |

Wow
That uniform was unanimously killed for being the ugliest throwback uniform ever worn in an NFL game - and I agreed. However, your work has made it look really cool. Great job!

thanks...
Guys,
Thanks for the compliments. I not going to lie, I am probably the only person on this earth who actually dug this uniform. That being said I think all uniforms look better on MF figures...maybe because we love MF. I hate the Bill's uniforms with all of those different blues but someone did them in MF and posted the pic...the uni looked awesome on MF figs. It's just something about seeing it in miniature. The Excalibur figure is from the new game but I did add thigh pads, knee pads, and ff.com arms. These Excalibur figs have great helmets and faces. Lomax, I will post pics soon. Joe, the eyes are painted. For eyes I use a round toothpick. First I paint a white dash. Then I add a black dot to the middle. Finally I go back and make the white area as thin as possible by touching it up with the skin tone. When I look at these pics I wish I had made some of these eyes a tad bit thinner. So far my heaviest figure has come in at 2.2 grams without a base. My plan is to make this team completely unboiled to fit our 3.3 weight limit. This will definately exclude TTCs on many of these figures. I don't know if it was you or 5-13 who gave the tip on epoxy sculpt but I have to say thanks! I like it better than miliput. DMC |
