Default Cleaning players?

What is the best way to clean up old players? I dont want to remove the paint, just get rid of the old glue from the numbers and any other dirt that might be one them.
Any suggestions?

Soap and water is what I have used in the past. I have heard of people using a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol, but I would be careful if you go that route.

Default Bored?

Boy Jeff, we must be the only guys not working (well I am, but have one eye other places). I would think that we should get some sort of award for being online the longest.

Default Cleaning Older Figures

To clean older figures and to remove residue left by old #s I use a mild soap solution (Woolite and warm water) and a toothbrush. Then I rinse and dry them with paper towels. When the residue is tough to remove I use a Q-Tip swab and some rubbing alcohol, be careful because you could remove paint as well. I’ve cleaned many a vintage hog leg and Haiti team this way. Good Luck.
