NFL Films recap
They gave us the wrong time.... it started at 2am and not 3am
Here are the highlights from what I caught...a few minutes into it.... First, my son woke me up saying he was looking and saw EFL on ESPN and they were talking to Big Keith......so I turned on the set and boom, there it was.... They had interviews with Norbert, Big Keith, Ron Bell, I don't know if Beenutt was interviewed because they were the ones playing in the NFC & AFC championship rounds.... We all know about the super-slow motion of NFL films, well Ron Bell's KR (I think it was Reggie Bush) was the super slow-mo player highlighted and he took it to the house! All in all, a great peice and surely something that could be a spring board for Made for Cable series (c) Some on the ****** floor show plus some out-takes... Frank and Ken on the play-by-play.... some final scores from the game and Beenutt vs Ron Bell Title game...... K-LO |

Just want to say thank you to all the people who were involved with this video. It's allways a great scene to see our sport get some publicity.

NFL Films
I was at a hotel last night and could not sleep. I turned on the tv and caught the entire report. Great publicity. Why did they have to pick a Super Bowl where the Vikings lost?
Great job. |

Usual high quality NFL films camera work...
but as I explained earlier via a phone call to Weirdwolf... I just wish the media would start presenting us like ESPN presents Madden Nation and not some sort of offbeat football related Novelty act. Its almost like they laugh "at us", not so much "with us". :o I mean, if I was just looking at that piece, without knowing all I do now about the hobby here, I would see that piece and say to myself, "LOOK at those GEEKS! What goofballs." I'm still hoping that some day some where a major news outlet covers us like ESPN covers Madden Nation. I play both. But this is way better. You'd never know it by watching Madden Nation. (which I just happened to stumble upon because of ESPN's scheduling snafu.) Last edited by BigFranco : 01-15-2008 at 05:17 PM. |

All I can say is WOW!
I just saw the piece on You-tube and I am actually a little teary eyed...plus I was excited to see myself in it for my 4 seconds of fame.
But in all honesty...this is a testament to all of you guys who play the game...all of you are great "people" and it was so enjoyable to watch Norbert, Big Keith, Ron and Lynn in the interview part...you guys were very classy...thank you for just being a part of this hobby...this piece is a dream come true and it will only strength our sport and aid in recruitment of new coaches. God Bless Miniature Football and all who play it!
