Default Miggle 2008 convention

WOW! They always say that you remember your first for the rest of your life. I know I'll never forget this years Miggle convention, my first. What an incredible experience. The Friday night greeting dinner was top notch. Congrtulations go out to Brian Witkopp for being named the Miggle MVP of the Year. Mr. Michigan, as he is now known, was speachless for the first time in his life. The action going on as coaches prepared for the tourney was terrific as well. There were guys up until well past 3:00am practicing. I got all of about 2 hours sleep for both nights. I got to meet people that I've been chatting with for the last few years for the first time, as well as old friends that I don't get to see often enough. I especially was glad that I finally met up with my buddy Green Bay Glenn. I haven't laughed so much in my entire life- my sides are all sore. The guy is an absolute hoot!

54 guys signed up for the tourney, in the end Greg Hardman beat Jimbo 7 - 0 to win the ring. Congrats Greg. I had a great time, I'm absolutely pooped out. I need another 2 days off to rest. To everyone I met, I hope you had as good of a time as I did. To those that couldn't make it, hopefully you'll be able to make the MFCA convention in August. Take care all!

congrats to both finalist, bet it was an awesome game. GBG is one cool dude, and hopefully, him going to the convention will get him back in the mood to play sometime, even if its only a few scrimmages.

Default Finally...

...got a chance to see some of Al and Glenn's "freaks" live and in person!!! The "Quatch and the Mooses were hilarious to watch as they executed flying wedges and guillotine defenses! Although I didn't watch all of it I enjoyed the "good vibes" when chatting with these 2 guys.

I had a blast myself and "I'LL BE BAACK!" <<<---in my best Ahnold voice. )

Jimbo, I'm glad you enjoyed the game. Sorry to hear that you lost the final. At least you were able to crack the final four. Maybe next year?

Guys, you talk about passing skills. I stayed up with GB Glenn Friday night to help him prepare for the Saturday games. His passing was unbelievable. That ball was going up, down, sideways, backwards. Every which way except towards the reciever. I'm not kidding, he was even able to complete the pass to his own TTQB. It reminded me of the Garo Yeprimian pass in the Superbowl between the Dolphins and Redskins. I sent a video copy to Ripley's but even they won't believe it.
