Let Me Tell You About MICHAEL DOWNS!
There is a coach who uses the name MICHAEL DOWNS from the Bronx, NY on this forum.
Let me tell you what a stand up guy this dude is. I posted about wanting to get a set of yellow convention bases, he PMs me and says he has a set for me and give him my address. I hit him back with my address and ask for his so I can send him cash. He says they are all mine and we can discuss the cash later. I respond back to him, let me send you some money. On Jan. 30th he tells me he sent them priority and he hopes I enjoy them. Today I get them in the mail. He spent $4.60 on postage and would not take any money for any of it. This is above and beyond, for a dude to do this for a coach he has never even talked to before is a really a cool thing. This is indeed a great hobby and is played by some good people. Thanks Coach!

...he overheard me say that "yellow bases are for cowards!" and since he's a COWBOYS man he agreed and got them as far away from him and his BOYS as possible!!!
JUST KIDDING, SHABBY J! JUST KIDDING!! JUST KIDDING!!!    MD aka "Beam Me Up Scotty Hooper" is a real cool cat! He just chilled and absorbed knowledge all weekend long. We need more guys like him in this game. The BAMFL is gonna be proud to have him.    Enjoy those bases. Thanks alot. that was very nice of you to say. i am glad you got them by the weekend so you can have time to TWEAK. i am just giving to guys they some have given to me. Johnny Thomas of the NYEFL, after meeting me and knowing me for all of 2hours, gave me a whole MNF board with the stamped Eagles and NYG's. whats funny is, i had never seen the stamped teams at that time, so i thought he painted them himself.
but i am just paying it forward. MANY guys in the hobby do it too. i am just falling in line. thanks again, SCOTT HOOPER AKA MICHAEL DOWNS PS- HEY JIMBO!!! got a cool pic coming for ya real soon.
