Default What I think the hobby needs

You know I was thinking the other day, this hobby needs a magazine that is sold at new paper stands or hobby shops. I think it would let more people know about this hobby. The magazine would be about all the things we do in this hobby.

This Ideal came to me when I was in a hobby shop and saw all the magazines on wargaming and on model trains, I was thinking why not our hobby. What do you think?

More money donated or raised could potentially merit such an endeavor. Book-store chains like B&N, Borders (respectively) have in the recent past accepted off-the-street periodicals. This might hold true in hobby shops. Maybe members could invest in future issues of The Tweak, possibly buy extra copies, keep one and then use the remainder for promotion/recruitment purposes.

Default what our hobby needs

We need more good demonstrations on you-tube and on this site. I have been able to show people what i have been trying to tell them by having them watch some really good demonstrations of action packed controlled football. Also informative things such as RR passing and hitting targets, also buzzballs demonstration of the pass simulation system, these things get people excited about the possibilities of good fun football.

Andre, Your fairly new here and maybe didn't know that the MFCA produces a quarterly 40 page full color magazine called The Tweak. It is currently available in hard copy to the members of the MFCA as part of the membership dues of $30.00. You can download the past editions at: http://www.miniaturefootball.org/sit...=1216&CatID=13

Issue 3 was sent out in December and as soon as issue 4 comes out issue 3 will be available for download as well.

If you want to join the MFCA you can signup at:
http://www.miniaturefootball.org/sit...fm?pageID=1223

We would love to see it in stores along side Railroad Modeler and RC Flyer but for it to get to this level we will need a major sponsor or a few thousand subscribers. Cost to print is unbelievable especially in the small batches that we are creating.
