McFarlene Figures are a good source for custom figure artists!
Greetings my EF/MF family
I wrote a similar post on this subject about two years ago, but I feel good information never has an expiration date, so here goes. If you make figures you need a source to go to from time to time, photos of actual Football action shots are great, but sometimes the photo to figure ratio can make it difficult to create a functional On the field figure, the reason being that a figure must be balanced correctly. Now some pics if you look closely and if you understand the anatomy of what your trying to create its no problem, example a leaning RB, or a 3point Stance D or O lineman, or a blitzing LB these are easy, but other pics may be a little more difficult to recreate. An excellent source for good figures are McFarlene NFL figures, reason being is that what they do is similar to what we do. They are balanced correctly and action posed, so its very easy to duplicate a McFarlene and transfer the same pose to an EF/MF figure. Do some search hits on McFarlene figs and copy some poses I think youll be very pleased with what you can create. Stay Blessed |
