Default When to pull and when not to

What plays do you need to pull a O-line man and is the sweep still a good play to do and when to sweep?

Anthony Burgess is the coach that you want to talk to. His style of play makes it possible for a lineman to pull. Basically, switching the board off and making adjustments to the players on the board allows a coach to pull linemen, roll quarterbacks, send receivers on real routes, etc. Then the board is switched back on and the play resumes.

Yes the sweep is still a good play. When do you sweep ? The great thing about our hobby is that you are the coach and you decide when you want to sweep. I just so happened to have a play that is a sweep to the weakside and is quite effective. As was stated earlier Anthony Burgess is the person to talk to regarding pulling guards. I was fortunate to see a demo of his system last June. I have heard that some leagues allow you to turn the guards for sweeps before the switch is turned on. Hope that helps.

Default sweeps and pulling linemen

you can run sweeps with or without pulling linemen.

pulling linemen is very tricky because the defense actually knows when you are pulling (at least the experienced coach can) so the spot when the OG vacates, a defender will shoot that gap.

You can kindof disguise the pulling action by placing the base on a player backwards with it's programming to pull to the left/right already pre-determined so the play looks normal but one of the O-Line is pulling.
