If "if" Was A "fifth!"

Norbert's National College Base Draft thing got me reminiscing about how I envisioned MY perfect MF-World. I would love to have 31 other guys living within walking or biking distance, just like most of you had growing up.

I would love for all of us to have our 1 favorite NFL team and 5 different NCAA teams.

I would love to either emulate real-life injuries that last as long as the real-life guy!

I would love to emulate drafts and trades just like real-life. Can you imagine Norbert or WeirdWolf giving up their Jarod Allen bases to Moody or Ed Scott!?! Or FrustratedFinFan (DOLPHINS) pays Michigan Joe $57,000,000 for his Jake Long (MICHIGAN) base!?!

Could you imagine Chuck Lawrence (PACKERS) giving RAIDERMAN his Ahmad Carroll base because he got tossed out of the NFL and now plays ARENA in Orlando (PREDATORS)!?!

What am I driving at?

WHAT IF...we all held a National Draft/Trade at the MFCA-Con every year? A MFCA-Con-Combine!?!

That would mean we'd have to keep accurate stats and we'd all have to be honest as far as giving up that PREMIUM base for a price (of course!) And we'd have to NOT re-tweak over someone else's base!!! If that base turned into a bust we would ALL hear about it and that Coach would be less likely to be a source for future drafts/trades.

I'd say a fair price would be $1 per $1M. So, in the example I used above for Jake Long, $57 paid to MichiganJoe. In the event there were 2 or more Jake Long's i.e. Chuck Lawrence's and Dave Campbell's MICHIGAN squads, that's when we have a "tryout" at the MFCA-Con-Combine!!! Or if FFF just wants to pay $57 to either Coach all willy nilly, then so be it.

It's one thing to keep that All-Star team intact, but can you imagine literally spreading the wealth throughout the hobby?

Can you imagine keeping tabs on YOUR players around the country?

Can you say Fantasy Miniature Football?

I'd have to have that all up front! As life-like as these guys are getting, I'd hate to see someone's mini-Ricky decide to quit football and smoke weed for a living!!!
