Default Running plays

I have decided to roll the dice for play calling in my solitare league.
I need some help picking 6 offensive plays. Any suggestions? Also, this is a pro team only league so no option plays. I am trying to make it quick.
Here are is the defense:
1. 4-4
2. 3-4
3. nickel
4. dime
5. 5-2
6. 4-3 blitz

Here is what I have so far for offensive plays. Left or right will be a flip of the coin.
1. Pro set pass (L/R)-pass
2. Strong I/ Weak I-run (I formation but fullback goes either side)
3. Trips-pass
4. I right/left-run
5. Shot gun-pass
6. Pro set right/left-run (backs are split)

How does this sound?

Sounds good. You may want to try a QB sprint option. The QB sprints (rolls out) either to the right or left. If a receiver comes open then throw the football. If a receiver doesn't come open then have the QB run. On defense you may also want a corner or safety blitz.

I think I'm going to borrow your idea Chris, slightly modified of course. I think I'll replace the Pro set pass with the roll out option mentioned.

Default Copy away!

This idea goes back to my old strat o matic days. Dice roll to determine the type of play. It creates an element of chance to every play without any team having an advantage.
As a matter of fact I am going to get a play chart from strat o matic football and see if it works. I will let everyone know if it works or not.
Chris

Default Here is another idea for D

Run: Position your defenders to stop the run.

Balanced: Position your defenders in a neutral state so as not to favor guessing Run or Pass.

Pass: Position your defenders to stop a pass.

Linebacker Blitz : Position your defenders to stop a pass, and blitz one or more linebackers to try and sack the quarterback or otherwise disrupt the play. This will help stop short and long passes, but flat passes and runs will do well against this defense.

Safety Blitz : Position your defenders to stop a pass, and blitz the free safety to try and sack the quarterback or otherwise disrupt the play. Safety blitzes bring great pressure on the quarterback, but if he is able to get the pass of then you might get burned long.

All Out Blitz : Position your defenders in an all-out effort to sack the quarterback. This is a high-risk, high-reward strategy.

Default It works

Well, I ran a test run of my new layout and it works like a champ.
Rolling two different colored dice for the O and one for the D. I have even put in fumbles and penalties. With a bit more work, I think it could be a great system for those who play solitare leagues.
