Default Back in the day

I remember back in the day starting around around 1999, 2000 time frame we used to have chats online all the time....guys from all over would get together at certain times to discuss things....does this no longer happen?

Default Reason

EVERYBODY knows EVERYTHING!!!! Now if you want me to call you a "deck-swabbing stinkin' squid lover!" on a LIVE chat then LMK. GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY!!!

Otherwise, almost ALL topics have already been written 100 times, and as usual some more than others ALWAYS ignite a raging forest fire i.e. "I'd rather play checkers than chess;" 4.0 is NOT the national norm; and boiled bases are NOT better than tweaked bases but are STILL taboo!!! <<<--- Yeah, I went there, whatchya gonna do about it???

Other than that, there's really nothing new to talk about, except for the various secrets each "dojo" has against the others!?! Did ya hear about...???

How ya wanna do this Annual Commander-In-Chief Trophy thingy-me-bob? We need an Air Force Veteran! Know anybody? What rules, weight, etc? LMK 773-412-7789. flg$

Don't listen to Jimbo. He's just upset because we were always talking about him behind his back in those chat rooms. If you have ever seen his face, then you'ld know why we don't talk in front of it.

We were doing the chats on Wednesday nights, but they sort of fizzled out. Mostly it was me, Bill and Boy George talking about Bills sex life, or lack thereof. I'm up to trying to get Wednesday nights back together if anyone else wants to. If not Wednesday nights, then just name the night and time and let's get the chat room rocking again!.

Toooo funny....

Jimbo, not sure theres any Air Force veterans out there.....

Army Navy game...dont matter....rules are not important....if i recall, last time we got on the board we were using the strat divider.....lets stick with that for starters if you like...
I'm a re-born EFL'er so will have to update me on whats new with the rules and current favorite styles of play...

I am going to work with Chris and Jeff to bring back the college tourney to Columbus. Gonna start small again...i remember when it was just columbus and akron.....then remember what it grew to?
Being one of the first all college tournaments was a blast...

Maybe this will be a 2009 venture once i get my feet wet again and start traveling to some more tournaments like i used to in the past....

Chats....dont matter what we talk about...was just wanting to holla at new and old friends...nothing specific.

Default Actually...

...my Miniature College Football Championship Tourney is the first weekend in January 2009. Since we're already watching all the Bowl games that weekend, we might as well play!!! Then there's the Dixie League College Season that Beenutt runs on 2 separate dates. They play 4 games as their Season and then meet again for a Playoff and Championship. I wanna do that next year definitely! My Hybrid Rules combine the Strategy Divider, the Action Box and elements of the MPFL (Multi Stop) System. All on a custom big board - 24" x 48"!!!

My 1989-1995 ARMY team is under construction. The roster will be all of my comrades that I played ball with: 3 years Flag in Oklahoma and 2 years Tackle in Germany. Split squad is easiest to do, so Offense in dark jerseys, Defense in white. Get crackin' on a 24x48 board and I'll do your fieldcover for ya!
