Default So Far...

...I like the purple, so keep it up.

As for the bases, I see A LOT of burn marks. Too much lighter will melt the prongs. Just a quick back and forth to get the "flash" off NOT the meat of the prong. Honestly, most of the ProLine bases don't need to be touched! Especially if you put the heavier ff.com figures on them. Just make sure all 4 sets of prongs are even-steven and leaning a lil to the rear (...\...\...) and they're all good.

Just so you know, I have not quit this project, I just haven't painted much over the summer. I will start painting more during the school year. I only have a few more days of vacation left an I am not gonna waste them. Also I changed my color selection to a little more accurate color. I will be painting with more quality, and will paint the white instead of leaving it blank. I soaked my players in break fluid, and decided to make customs.

When I was about 10 or 11 the first electric football team I coached was the Vikings, however my dad had already painted them up for me.

Keep painting, they look good, just throw some decals on and they'll look even better.

Taylor,

Maybe that's a reason we hit it off so well. I love the Vikes and a 12 year older like yourself is a huge fan.

My all-time favorite Vike is a guy who use to live just right around the corner from me growing up named Oscar Reed.

They called him "Butch" in the old neighborhood. When I grew up, he had shattered many Memphis high school rushing records and went on to Colorado State where he was an All-American.

He went to the Vikes, played in 3 Super Bowls and started as the fullback with Chuck Foreman.

He was a main cog in the Vikes running attack right after Dave Osborn and Bill Brown era. He's often overlooked because he did the heavy lifting for Chuck Foreman but think about adding old number 32 on that team of great Vikes.

Default All white jerseys finished

All of my white and purple jerseys are finished (I am assembly line painting.) My next decision is to either...

...Paint all purple helmets next
...Paint all purple socks next
...Paint both purple helmets and socks next
...Finish the figure til its ready to decal

Which would be most effective??

personally I like to get all the painting done before I decal, but I end up never doing that because I want to finish the players. I am painting the helmet, skin, jersey, pants, socks and shoes b4 I decal, then I paint the gloves.
