Opinions on the 620 board
First off let me say you guys have made my first few days here awesome, everyone has been very helpful & I thank you.
My excalibur vibrating board hasn't arrived yet, but I already feel as though I didn't make the wisest choice in boards. I noticed miggle has a special running on their 620 board, & was wondering what the general consensus is for the this board? I love the custom boards that i've seen & wondered if they're compatible with the 620's? I'm certainly gonna try the vibrating board when it arrives later this week, but may make a switch. |

If you are considering the NEW 620 from miggle then save your money. They are not very desireable. I will leave it at that. There are some good older 620 boards. When you get ready let me know we will find ya a good one.

I know several of us have purchased a new 620.. made numerous adjustments, added more of the adjusting rods, etc etc etc.. and then thought we had it "almost right".. and then we didn't.. I had the surface right where I wanted it.. laying flat.. and the motor just wouldn't do the job. I don't have any of the custom boards.. and am in the planning stages of a custom board.. Personally.. I like the sheet metal surface.. but it needs to be thick enough to handle the 24 x 48 (or larger) span. But I also want additional bells and whistles.. lol

620
49ninerfan09,
A 620, new or old, as well as anybody's custom board, it's a crap shoot! Smitty |

I have both an older 620 and a newer 620 gameboard. I would take the older 620 hands down. The only adjustment I needed to make was to put large binder clips around the board. I have only played on the custom boards at a tournament so I would not be the one to ask about the consistency. However, I was impressed with what I saw. Still for starters I would locate and purchase an older 620 gameboard. Hope that helps.

Don't do it!
I purchased the new 620 board and man was that a big mistake. I've heard the older 620's are a lot better. Better still, get yourself one of the big boards that several guys here make/sell. They can be a little costly but you'll be MUCH happier. On occasion you'll see someone on here selling their big boards. Check those out if you can.
