Default creating Rutgers for the CBSMF is just what I needed to get me excited about EF/MF!

hey my EF/MF family:
Today I had the pleasure of speaking with my friend and brother double R. I expressed that making a Rutgers team for the CBSMF has been such a joy, now dont get me wrong I love creating pro squads and I always will, but this is my first college squad and it has caused a level of excitement for me that I havent felt in a while, on this team I have gone all out it is a mixture of custom figure styles that I have never attempted, I need to thank Reg, Chris Robinson,Rick Garrison, brother 5-13, For u to hate, and brother One to watch, all of your styles mixed with my own have blended into a custom figure smorgasbord of creativity. sometimes you need something to get excited about the CBSMF is just that for me, and im sure all of you other coaches participating in one of the biggest college EF/MF events in our hobbies history our pumped also, Go Scarlet Knights!

Default lock...

i know how ya feel lock. i am creating my ecu pirates almost figure by figure, almost all customs. i love it when an idea in my head transforms into a working figure on the field. i still have to base them up but i love my squad so far and having a hand in thier total creation from idea to reality is a awsome feeling. and watching them perform on the field is like watching my kids play football cause i swear when you put in the time we do to create, paint, and base them up..you somehow get attached to them on a whole nother level.

Default This is definitely one of the best of times...

for me!

The passion and feeling for "your" team is so much different than the pros. Whether you went to the school, lived down the street from the school, or was born into the school, the emotional ties are so much greater.

Therefore, you put more into creating that team because this is the one team you live and die by! It's like, when you see the colors of that school, there's a certain feeling of joy that you really can not explain. Anytime I see orange and white, it does something to me-literally and pyschologically!

So, going back and finding out the history on the school becomes easy. I was already a Tennessee Vols historian, knowing everything about the program from the early 1900's to its present day. When you arrive on the campus of Tennessee as a freshman, they actually have a class that teaches you the history and traditions of Tennessee football. So gaining any additional information is always enlightening.

While this is a research project, you get so much satisfaction out of creating the players in "your own image". With the ability to customize, you can go back in time and re-live how you thought that player should have been (from a performing standpoint). You then create him in that manner!

The painting becomes so easy and quick as you want to stay up all hours of the evening working on that team. You get on conference calls and find other coaches across the country have already started the trek of creating their teams like the Dave Campells and Eric Robinsons out in the PAC10. And the Jim Davises, Steve Martins, and Greg Hardmons in the Big 10, and the Wolfies in the Big 12, and the Kelvin Lomaxes and Dru Sparks from the ACC, and the Joel Pritchards already showing you his 'Cocks from the SEC. These guys are serious and they get you fired up!

I think when Bluesman put up David Garrad and Mozeek put up his Syracuse "comeback" on the CBSMF thread, it pumped me up to get started on my "Big Orange". So I know it's happenin' and people are excited! I am luvin' seeing the Tennessee Vols come to life in both home and away! It becomes a numbers game when you have 8 great NFL backs on your team! What do you do! So, you create your roster and start eliminating some people based on what you want to keep. Because you know, that although he was great, everybody can not play!

To top it off, you go out on your school's chat page and someone makes an offer for your Tennessee Vols about 10 times what you would have gotten elsewhere. But because you love the Vols so much, parting with them at this time would be close to impossible.

That great dilemmas to have! So get hyped on starting on your team because I know Biglock and Bluesman certainly are!

Default I feel the same way guys...

Getting back into customizing after nearly 8 weeks off, I'm super excited to be finally customizing my dream Michigan Wolverines squad. Big Lock, Reg, Blues...I'm totally with you guys on your feelings about creating your beloved college teams!
