Default Hey custom fig makers

I am about to get some Reg figures and TRY to make my own customs any tips or advice? I will be doing a custom display of Steeler figures never to be played with so I won't have to worry about balance and hope to get pretty crazy with some of the poses. I just thought I'd ask for the rules of customization. Thanks fellas and look for Greg Lloyd and Kevin Greene on a post near you.

Default Start Slow

I am not an expert, but my experience has shown me that each type of figure must be approached a certain way to prevent from ruining it. Also, start with simple cuts. Cut at the torso and shoulders. When you feel comfortable, try cutting the figure’s joints such as the knees, ankles, and elbows, etc.

Default Many Tricks of the Trade

First, I appreciate your patronage of my figures. The first thing I would say is learn all the poses. Me and most of my customizers, when we talk, we talk in our on code and it makes sharing information easier.

The ones who become very good at this are the ones who seek the knowledge. We share secrets with each other that are not plainly seen. But once you start working with customizing, you will find things like the plastic is easy to bend and re-shape.

I would recommend buying the customizing DVD. It has been a "light bulb" for many of my customizers.
