Default If You Were A Wr And Just Caught A Pass Over The Middle

AND WAITING FOR YOU IS JACK TATUM OR RONNIE LOTT. Who would you rather take your punishment from ?

I must go with ronnie lott, although he may hit alot harder than tatum, with tatum, you never know what the heck he going to do to you !!!!!

Default .

Thats true Dre. so with that said, i would rather be Brandon Jacobs catching a dump pass over the middle with Charles Woodson waiting for me.

Andre, you forgot about the man who was accused of being the 'criminal element' of the NFL, George Atkinson. He would hit you whether or not the ball was anywhere near you. So, in that regard, I would rather have Lott hit me as well.

Good catch Al...

Even though Tatum is more widely known (mainly because of the Stingley incident) I don't think most people realize that Jack was the prize pupil of The Georgie Atkinson school of HARD KNOCKS. Tatum's first few years in the league, he was mentored in the art of the "Forearm smash" by Atkinson.

I pulled this off of wikipedia:

In a regular-season game in 1976 vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Raiders' arch-rival, Atkinson hit an unsuspecting Lynn Swann in the back of the head with a forearm smash, even though the ball had not been thrown to Swann. The hit rendered Swann unconscious with a concussion. Atkinson had also hit Swann in a similar manner in the previous season's AFC Championship game, which also gave Swann a concussion. After the second incident, Steeler's coach Chuck Noll referred to Atkinson as part of the "criminal element" in football. Atkinson subsequently filed a $2 million defamation lawsuit against Noll and the Steelers, which Atkinson lost.

Default Tough one

I recall Lott lighting up many RB's in his day.

I think though I would go with Lott.
