Default How Would You Grade The Mf/ef World After A Half Of Year.

Coaches,

june has just passed and a half of year is in our rear view mirror regarding the state of miniature football. If you were a teacher grading a paper on the advancements and improvements in our hobby, what grading would we get.

The paper was based on

1)coaches conduct
2)new products
3)The prez of the mfca performance
4) manufacturers performance
5) attended tournament performance (all tourney's you have attended)
6) fellowshiping overview. (new friends and new contacts)

*WHAT AREA NEEDS IMPROVEMENT FOR THE FUTURE.* ?

Default My new friend norbert !!!!!!!

Coaches,

one of the best things that has happened in my illustrious (lol) mf/ef career happened at this years brawl. i was in the game hall and norb said i have to talk to you when you get a chance. I have seen norb at every event and we never had a converstion past hello in all of these years. he saw me again and said lets go outside and we wen't accross the street form the hotel.

Norb began to tell me a few things (positive) about this and that (private convo) and it made me think about alot of things in the hobby. i have all the respect in the world for him after that. (he also sold me some super strong bases later on in the day).

As men, i only wish more of us could go outside accross the street somewhere and just talk face to face/man to mantaray/brother to brother.
These little plastic men are no reason to lose friends over !!!!!!. They go back into a box while some feel they want to box because they are upset over something minor.

You can accomplish alot just by a talk whether it's in person or via telephone.

DON'T LET THE PLASTIC, MAKE YOU THINK SOMETHING DRASTIC, JUST SETTLE IT ON THE FIELD, WHETHER YOU WIN, OR GET YOUR ********** KICKED

1. Conduct - C-. the board got real bad for a while and drove me away. it got real sour reading some of the things and finding out about all the small beefs and implied negativity between quite a few coaches.

2. New Products - A+. got the TDQ. just ordered (well, sort of ) the TDK, and i love the new diamond bases. big shout out to Shabby J on that!!

3. The Prez- WHAT!!!? A + with honors.

4. Manufacturers Performance - A

5. Tourneys - A+. it takes SO MUCH time to put on a production, so as long as you have a good room to stay in, a good room to play in, and good people around you, then you gotta appreciate what the host does. and try hard to appreciate all that he does that you will never know about. BIG PROPS to anyone who hosts any weekend event.

6. Fellowship- A++ - as long as i keep meeting more and more good guys like i do, this will always grade out with an A+. The bickering will NEVER destroy this good part of the hobby. there are just too many of us out there who just prefer to play, and get along.

GOOD QUESTION DRE. ANOTHER CLASSIC POST.

1) coaches conduct: B

2) new products: A

3) The Prez, is an easy A+ and deserves more than that.

4) manufacturers performance: A

5) tourneys: A+

6) fellowship: C, there is an A+ fellowship with all the coaches I have met out here in So Cal, they are good people. I hope all leagues, be it competitive play or just once a month friendly scrimmages have what I am a part of out here.

Life is not one big group hug, neither is MF, it takes all kinds to keep this thing going. Don't take this the wrong way, but if we all were best buddies for life we would become complacent, you got to have that little exchange on occassion and people need to stick to what they believe in and not be afraid to hash out their differences, when that happens, in my honest opinion, it is a birthplace for great things, as it can open one's mind and fuel one's inner fire and creativity.

Sorry did not mean to get on my soapbox tonight.

Coach Michael Downs, big ups to ya brother! Thanks for the shout out!

I can only give high marks to all. Its a fun hobby and I've met great people while becoming involved in it. I really haven't had anything but a good experience yet. Maybe its because of my expectations. When I am off of work and the kids are to bed or I'm getting away or whatever, all I'm looking to do is relax and have fun (thats what this hobby is to me). There is no drama, there is no right or wrong, I'm just jumping on the MFCA train and having fun with things.
