Rick, you will be missed...I was looking forward to you & Ajah going back & forth. Thanx RJ, I'm glad it has been a success as well. D-Child, I agree & K-Lo, wish you could be here as well. I too think more of this sort of thing should be done across the country. Those of you out there who don't tweak & paint...man...you're missing out on one of the greatest aspect of the hobby. There is no feeling like starting from scratch...painting, choosing figures whether it be molding them, customizing, or using stockfigures, then determinining which bases perform best on which figure & position.

Big thanks to Eric and Dave for hosting another great Open Run. There were the usual So Cal miniature football greats present, Vegas representated as well, some new coaches showed up and brought what appears to be a strong youth contingent with them too.

Great fun was had, the "option play" was experimented with and run a lot of times, we actually did less tweaking and a lot more scrimmaging this time around. Tables were full and fields were constantly humming all day long (too bad the air conditioner was not doing the same thing) .

We fellowshipped, scrimmaged, traded, bought, sold, taught, learned, laughed, made new friends, etc....

I hope the rest of you coaches have as great a thing going in your area as we do here. I am fortunate enough to call these guys my friends and spending a day hanging out with them to play MF is something I really look forward too.

The Pac 10 Colleges are going to be a major threat in the CBSMF, I guarantee that.

Here some pics from today, other coaches have some as well, hopefully they'll get 'em up as soon as they are able.

Good to see eveyone again and also good to meet some coaches for the first time.

Looks like a fun day guys!! I wanted to be there big time...but my wife scheduled something else this weekend and we all know who wins in those conflicts

Hope to see you again soon....need to finish up my Utah "D" in white now that I have some time....my whole team was in red jersey, so lots of work to do.
