Michigan Leagues For Marty T.
As It Is In Life, Every Structure Has A Social Norm. To Requset A Change Of Play Nationally,is Not Right At All. Here In This County We Have 50 States With Counties With Cities. And May I Say All Laws Are Not The Same. Requesting Change Comes From Within Your Structure(in The Military We Call It A Chain Of Command) Coach Marty T. I Suggest That You Win The Show, this Comming Oct 2008. By You Being The Champion You Can Institute Change. Before U Request Change, frist Complete Your Mission With The Laefl! Be Advised The Show Is In Las Vegas. I Hope The Hospitality Is Much Better Than Your Request!! You R Playing In The Laefl, but You Wish To Play In Michigan, then I Suggest You Denouce Your Association Nationally, and Cease Your Renegade Actions. I Suggest U Conduct Yourself As U Would Within Your Congragation. Next Year Is The Laefl 10th Anniversery And We're Going To Another Level! We Were A League Before U Came Along And Will Be One When You Go To Michigan! Fare Thee Well!! (laefl Vanguard!!! Coach Patterson!)

I am a little confused from reading this stuff lately. In LA the only stacking is allowed behind the nose tackle right? Marty are you against even that?
I think in Texas they stack wherever they want right? There is a big difference from that to the LA rules.

Run vs. Stack
You can run against the stack. Particularly on a big board.

Misinformation about the DFW League
I thought I said this earlier about the run and pass. Yes, in the DFW, you can stack anywhere! You can stack anywhere in the NFL, college or high school, right?
We do not pass on every play. That is just out-right misinformation! Guys have rushers who average over 100 yards per game. I've got backs (2 to be exact) averaged more than 80 yards apiece and I threw for more than 300 yards per game. Those are pretty impressive stats. We take what the defense gives us. So don't get it wrong, why would I run into a defensive scheme meant to stop the run when it's like taking candy from a baby when you have no safety coverage and I can throw 40 yard strikes in one deep coverage? That's called practice. It's simple to me what the issue is. In the DFW, we don't miss those opportunities to exploit that. But I hate it when mis-infomation about the rules come across the chat page about what goes on here. Running is possible. What the problem I think is guys want to be able to average 8, 9 yards per rush. In the DFW, the averages are more like 4-5 yards per run with 15-25 carries by the great backs. Sometimes they get 200 yards and in rare cases, 300 yards. That's where "any touch" limits the high averages. However, under this style of play, scoring is never a problem and the speed of the game nor the flow. There is a reason our league does well. It's most exciting to us to be in a league where scores can be 45-37 just as well as 7-3. But the problem and frustration is simple and it usually centers in discussions of frustrations concerning holes not being open. Learn how to pass with proficiency and running holes open because you can't cheat up to stop the run. Then you stop the stack! Coaches, please understand that if you are gonna play in the CBSMF, stacking is a part of it! You've got a year to practice the forward pass. Work on it! Or you will walk away frustrated and disappointed and blame the rules. If you can pass, it opens up everything else, including the run. Trust me, the run in our league, is not a problem at all. But you can not have one without the other in the DFW and win anything. So we all practice very hard to be well-rounded. Reg Last edited by Reginald Rutledge : 07-13-2008 at 11:36 PM. |
