Actually, I am thinking of a new mixture for the Eagles. For now, Metallic Christmas green is my favorite. I also have the regular non-metallic version and it is ok.

If you can wait until this evening, I will try my new mixture and post the results. I am sure it will work better than what we have been using.

Look at the attached pic of a McFarlane T.O. figure.

I am thinking Met Christmas Green for the helmet. And a turquoise / green mixture for the jersey.

Dandy Don.

Turn out the lights. I think I have a good mix for the Eagles. This was a fun challenge. I won't make my usual "take it to the bank" statement, but I really think that this is the right color.

Go back to Michaels and pick up Folk Art Metallic EMERALD Green, and Americana Calypso Blue.

Take Out 10 drops of the Emerald and Mix it with 1/2 drop of Calypso. This paint has a marked effect on the green, so too much will ruin it. Make a drop on your pallete, and sop up only half of that drop. Then mix it in with the green.

If you have cheap blank CDs lying around, use one. They are great for painting, mixing, and discarding afterwards. Sometimes, you can use them more than once. Don't mix paints on paper.

For the helmet, go with the Metallic Christmas Green as is.

Good luck and have a ball.
