During our journey to oz there have been several speed bumps we unfortunately had to drive over. The speed bumps im speaking of is miniature football misunderstandings. The speed bumps have caused my friends (forget coaches for now) to not reach out and seek one another. we are focusing more on chat board bickering instead of being productive and moving our hobby to heights never before imagined. every one of you has a
place in this society and are all equal in mf status. THE HUMAN MIND VARIES AND NO 2 PEOPLE ARE ALIKE SO EVERYONE IS NOT GOING TO LIKE THE SAME THINGS. WE LIKE DIFFERENT WOMEN, CARS, HOUSES, FOODS. DOES EVERYONE HAVE THE EXACT SAME CELL PHONE, NOOOOOO !!!!!! WE ARE DIFFERENT.

Why cant we accept that in each other and embrace whatever it is the other person is doing and support it 100%. WE NEED TO BE FRIENDS FIRST, THEN WORRY ABOUT COACHING. i RECENTLY WROTE "I WAN'T THE BS TO STOP AND I MEAN IT. Im not a clickish person looking for a fraternity/sorority/whatever to attach myself to. My entire life i alway's did whatever i wanted without explanation. (school, jobs, sports, etc etc). i march to the beat of my own drum and im going to do it here. I hope everyone stays true to what they want to do and march to the beat of there own drums. I HAVE MANY FRIENDS IN THIS HOBBY AND I WILL SUPPORT EACH OF YOU IN ANY WAY. IF YOU SEE ME SUPPORT SOMEONE ELSE, THAT HAS NO REFLECTION ON OUR RELATIONSHIP. IM RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER.

I find it embarrising for myself to know im not talking to a friend/coach over this game. WE HAVE GOTTEN WAY TO SERIOUS ON OUR WAY TO OZ !
Recently there was a speed bump in regards to the CBSMF, im quite embarresed the entire thing happended . As you know i have returned to the college league with a fresh outlook on things, " focus more on actually playing than chatting about it" Be a better coach and and just enjoy the day.
What i notice is we need to be more like bill belichek and other coaches preparing and focusing on our teams itself. "WE ARE LIKE THOSE ESPN ANALYST THAT DISAGREE ALL THE TIME'. YOU KNOW, THE KEYSHAWN JOHNSONS OF THE WORLD !!!


I love reg, jimbo, don, burgess , coach j, wally, mozeek, the bam itself. i will support whatever entity needs it " IF YOU WANT ME TO HYPE AN EVENT, I WILL NO MATTER WHO ASK, LONG AS I GET PAID ! (JUST KIDDING)


A NOTE ON RULES, I come to realize that making rules and creating styles is a pain in the a--. with that said, i don't blame you guy's for sticking by what you created. (reg, jimbo, burgess, pratt). "THERE'S ENOUGH GIRLS ON THE BEACH FOR ALL OF US" . We can play anyones rule set if we took 5 minutes to read them and just tried. I WANT TO PLAY WITH BURGESS, WHEN JIMBO GETS A COLLEGE THING ROLLING I WILL PLAY IN BOTH. WE ALL MUST FOCUS ON PLAYING ALOT MORE

Look at yourself, has anything you have gone through in the past regarding another coach been all that bad that you cant talk to them. NOT REALLY !

COACHES ARE STILL FRIENDS BUT NOT TALKING. NO ONE WANTS TO MAKE THE FIRST MOVE. ONCE AGAIN, has anything been that bad ?

Look at the cover of the new tweak, that is a beautfiul masterpiece. one of the gentlemen is no longer with us and coaches view him as a MF GOD.
Dont let the passing of one of us, or get the news a coach has a serious illness prompt you to say 'you no, life is too short, let me ". DO IT TODAY, DO IT VIA PM, DO IT VIA A PHONE CALL, DO IT JUST POSTING IT HERE, JUST DO IT.

That's deep Dre, and I agree 100%. My only regret in this game is that I have not been able to meet MORE coaches. You are right on every front--nothing in this hobby/sport should ever be taken that seriously (except when the switch is turned on, of course). I find that I have some haters out there, and I don't even know why, man. I respect everyone's work on this board, as well as the opinions expressed on here.

This game should not ever come between established friendships, or partnerships. I hope to start showing up for some of these events in the near future to begin new fellowships and friendships. I have had guys I don't even know send me stuff in the mail, just to help me out with my website, among other things--that kind of stuff makes me feel good, and it is much appreciated.
My line is always open for anyone who wants to discuss EF.

Dre is right on. On got back into this primarily as another way to have fun with my son (see the BAM Packers report thread or our league site www.leaguelineup.com/ndefl). Well, it has developed into meeting new people (CNYEFL and BAM coaches), going to new places and making many new friends.

When we travel the 2 hour plus one way trips that we have to, to play these league games we are looking to play electric football and have a good time. I am not looking to be undefeated (would be nice ) or to destroy anyone.

Worst thing to do is to let something small fester into a bigger problem than it ever was.

Now Dre, i am sure you have noticed that i dont always agree with some of the stuff you throw up. And by you not responding to some PM's i throw at you, i feel comfortable saying what i just said.

But let me say this now....................

YOU ARE TOTALLY ON POINT WITH THIS THREAD. THIS IS MR. UNITY TYPE STUFF RIGHT HERE. I ALWAYS GIVE YOU PROPS WHEN YOU POST SOMETHING GOOD AND THIS, BY FAR, IS THE BEST. YOU HIT THE SPOTS ON THE SORE POINTS OF THE HOBBY. I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT PEOPLE TAKE NOTE OF YOUR MESSAGE AND LET IT MARINATE BEFORE THEY TRY TO REJECT ITAS NONSENSE. THEN, PERHAPS, THEY WILL SEE THE LIGHT THAT WE ALL SEE IN OUR DREAMS. AND THEN DRE, I FEEL OUR DREAMS WILL COME TRUE AS A WHOLE ENTIRE MF COMMUNITY.

Dre, I really don't need to say more on the subject than you already spelled out. You said it. The only thing I can add is that in all my time in the hobby, I have not mey anyone who I have not either learned something from or shared some good moments with. I look forward in one way or another for the opportunity to see each of these people again. Many times the online communication gets out of hand compared to what we would say to each other in person. They may have happened somewhere but I have never seen a fist fight at an EF/MF event. I have seen verbal fist fights online that I am sure would not have happened face to face. Overall, we all need to learn to step back, take a breath and try to understand what the person on the other side of the conversation is really trying to get at before we post our rants.

In regards to playing under one roof, we will get that opportunity next weekend in the MFCA Coaches Points Challenge at the convention. All rules can be played as we recreate a modified version of the Green Room Rumble.
