first board attempt
Here is my first try at making a board. Some years back I came across a foosball table on clearance at walmart for $20, and I haven't played it in a while, or was I really crazy about the starwars theme to it, so I decided to convert it to an electric football table. Thanks to pit couture for answering all of my motor questions!!! I'll add more pictures when I finish putting it together.

here is a picture of what my field will look like. I have access to a print shop, and am getting it printed tomorrow on vinyl. I'll post when I get it!

Awesome
I can't wait to see this bad boy up and completed. I think this is an awesome idea and I would love to play on that kind of field. Please keep us posted on the progress.

further progress
I got my field printed today!!!!! I need to use some adhesive or something to stick down the edges, and I may need to use both motors after all, since the pieces slowed down a bit with the cover on there with only one motor. Tonight I will finish up with the goal covers to hide the wiring, and will hopefully get my goal posts finished put together and painted. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should attach my goal posts to the field?

It depends...
...on how your goal post are made but if you're looking to temporarily stick them up for games then use poster tac (that blue putty). It will hold it securely in place during games and will easily come right off without leaving a mess...no residue!

You can also try ordering from Miggle. I might be wrong but I think the base on there goal posts are on a magnet.

Those are the ones I use Coach J and I find that the magnets on them are kinda weak. That's why I use the putty.
