Default Stripping Figures....

Andre,
I've used both EasyOff-oven cleaner AND brake fluid.
I found Easy Off works quicker BUT if you decide to use
Easy off REMEMBER this:
1) Use Rubber gloves: it contains a caustic-soda/solution
that can/will burn you; Use Eye protection too;
2) Use in a WELL VENILATED area;Breathing the fumes just
ain't good for you.
3) Put figures in a plastic container and spray Easyoff over
them. It's a foam that will turn to liquid so spray until the
figures are covered in liquid easyOff.
4) Let them soak for 12 hours or so.Maybe longer maybe
shorter soaking time.Check them every-so-often
5) Hit them with an old tooth brush or a steel bristle
brush (hobby shop) similar to a tooth brush .Get under the
arms & between the legs good.
6)Wash in cold water;Let dry;Prime & have at it.

PLEASE remember numbers 1 & 2 above.Very important when using
Easy Off.Another suggestion that I live by is,just buy new figures
and that way you don't have to go thru all that mess.Trust me
in the long run it's not worth the trouble to strip figures. It's
messy, time consuming and just a pain in the **********.( if $$$$ are
available -of course)
Hope this helps.Be careful using Easy Off.

SEMPER FI,

i believe that the "film" was what was used to prime them. they were that way when i received them myself.
