Default Question of The Day "Boards" aka "Fields"

Hey coaches I've got a question for everyone. In my personal experience I enjoy playing on the larger metal fields and the 308's, I'm sorry but the 620's don't do much for me anymore. They put limits on what you can do as a coach offensively and tend to have all the athletes packed in. I know that some coaches choose to play on the 620's, maybe it's a financial thing, if so I understand, if not I also understand that we as coaches may choose to play on any field we so choose. I'm a very offensive minded coach, and I truely enjoy playing on the bigger fields, I love how it opens up the game, and it truely brings out the best and worst in all athletes. My question to the coaches is:

Which field do you prefer and why?

Thumbs up

Coming from someone who for years has played on the Super Bowl boards,(talk about it really being packed in),The 620 board I recently received has been a blessing for me.I have heard a lot about 300 series boards and I will purchase one at some point but for now,the 620 is plenty for me.

Default Big Board

I prefer the larger boards because they are symbolic to how far we have come in this hobby. The larger board looks more professional. More can be done on larger boards. In my opinion, traditional boards are for beginners or for people who don't have the space to accommodate a larger board.

Default I Prefer

the Big Board, this way I can spread you out. Some coaches use it for financial reasons, but most use is as strategy. If you are playing front of base the big board is the choice, but if you are playing any touch then the 620 is the call.

I would think that you'd want any touch on a big board instead of the 620 (I prefer fob on any size board). I believe any touch on a smaller board restricts play.

Playing any touch on a 620 would be in the Defense best interest. I was playing a dude from another league who plays on a Big Board Front of Base. I asked him why the small board and he replied this is any touch. So with that I notice all of his league mates doing the same thing. When you play front of base you can spread out and have a better run game. I prefer to play any style on a Big Board.
