Default Odd facemask
I just saw an old picture of the Cowboys Lance Rentzel with an almost translucent white facemask....I have necer seen this before and I'm pretty sure the Cowboys never sported them as a team...Anybody have any theories or info. I wish I could post the the picture (I'm new to this computer thing:o ) I'll find the web address at least if anybody is interested in checking it out...

i think that those were allowed for a while until people realized the danger of them shattering! want some weird facemasks? google some images of otto graham (the first player to wear a facemask) and see if you can find him wearing a plexi-glass type face shield. yikes!!

Weird huh? The electric football facemasks we use are probably stronger than those "ghost facemasks"... I'll check out some of those old photos,Thanks!

That's crazy! Did you get that picture at the Helmet Hut web site?They've got a ton of pld helmet pics and info on each helmet and it's respective history
